Acute Care (Urgent Care) Services for Avance Care Patients
Avance Care is Primary Care not “Urgent Care” but, we know healthcare needs can pop up at any time. As a service to established Avance Care Primary Care patients, we offer same-day and next-day appointments as well as extended and weekend hours. These convenient hours mean you can avoid the urgent care experience and visit your regular primary care location, even when scheduling ahead is not possible.
Our North Carolina clinics offer Avance Care patients convenient care for anything from headaches to back pain to COVID-19 or the flu, even when scheduling ahead is not possible. Keeping exceptional care convenient is part of our commitment to our North Carolina community.
Acute (“urgent care”) conditions we treat.
- Minor burns or injuries
- Sprains and strains
- Coughs, colds and sore throats
- Allergic reactions (non-life threatening)
- Fever or flu-like symptoms
- Rash or other skin irritations
- Mild asthma
- Animal bites
- Flu shots
Call 911 or visit the emergency room if you are experiencing any major or life-threatening conditions like:
- Stroke or heart attack symptoms
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Loss of consciousness
- Sudden loss of vision or blurred vision
- Severe bleeding or head trauma
