Ingredients
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets
Olive oil spray
Preparation
- Combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, sriracha, and garlic in a small bowl. Pour marinade into a gallon size resealable bag and add the salmon.
- Marinate for 20 to 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
- Remove the fish from the marinade, pat dry with paper towels. Save the extra marinade in the bag.
- Place the fish in the air fryer basket and air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 minutes, or longer depending on thickness of the salmon. Salmon is done when gently pressed with a fork and it easily flakes apart.*
- While the fish is cooking, pour the marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and reduce until it thickens into a glaze about 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon over the salmon before serving.
Leftover salmon can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 days.
*To prepare salmon in the oven: Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place filets on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
