Tawfikul Alam, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician serving patients at Avance Care West Cary in West Cary, North Carolina.
Dr. Alam earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Microbiology from North Carolina State University and went on to obtain his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2015.
With experience in managing both acute and chronic conditions, Dr. Alam is dedicated to patient care in both hospital and outpatient settings. He is a strong advocate for primary care and prevention and believes in a holistic approach to health.
Dr. Alam is fluent in Bengali and Hindi. He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). In his free time, Dr. Alam enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and exploring the arts.
