Seton Ennis, LCSW is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving patients at Avance Care in Cary, North Carolina.
Seton obtained her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work. She has invaluable experience with adults dealing with various mental health issues, both in hospital and outpatient settings, and has experience working with crises. Her focus is on helping adults handle life’s pressures and changes, long-term health problems, anxiety, panic, feeling low, and self-harm.
She believes in tailoring her approach to each person’s needs because everyone is different. So, she works closely with each client to figure out the best ways to help them. She mainly uses three types of therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Seton wants her clients to feel empowered, so she makes sure they have a safe space to work on building better ways to cope.
When she’s not working, the New Jersey native enjoys hanging out with her husband, dog, and friends. And if she’s at home, you’ll probably catch her getting creative with crafts or trying out new recipes to see if she’s got what it takes to compete on “The Great British Bake Off.”
