Flannery Jones, LCSWA, LCASA is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate providing therapy at Avance Behavioral Health at the Centers of Excellence in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Flannery earned her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
Flannery has specialized training and a strong interest in trauma, substance use, and addictions, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ identities, chronic illnesses, and more. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, combining evidence-based practices with patient insights to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. Flannery focuses on helping patients identify their inherent strengths, increase self-awareness, and make meaningful, sustainable life changes. She offers both in-person and teletherapy for adults dealing with recovery, mental health challenges, life transitions, stress, grief, and more.
A Durham native, Flannery enjoys sharing meals with friends and watching retro films in downtown Durham. She loves reading, hiking, painting, and attending live music events.
