Dana Bjuro, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care provider providing care at Avance Care Midtown in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dana earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania, where she was also a team captain for the Division I Lacrosse team. She began her nursing career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she continued her career at Levine Children’s Hospital.
Through her undergraduate studies and pediatric nursing experience, Dana gained an appreciation for family medicine and the way each family member’s health impacts the family as a whole. Her passion for family care inspired her to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dana earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dana is committed to providing individualized, high-quality care that is both holistic and evidence-based. She works closely with her patients to help them achieve their health goals, which keeps her motivated to continuously learn and discover the best health and wellness practices.
Dana lives in Charlotte with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, drinking coffee, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
