Allison Gapinski, FNP-C is a Primary Care Provider and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Avance Primary Care in Morrisville, North Carolina.
Allison is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Allison completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. After graduating, she held various roles as a Registered Nurse, including medical-surgical/telemetry, adult critical care, and postpartum. She went to graduate school to earn her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Since then, she has worked in primary care her entire career and can see patients of all ages. She has experience with both acute and chronic conditions as well as minor surgical procedures.
Allison’s approach to healthcare is to empower patients through education, to develop a trusting relationship with her patients, and to empower them to make well-informed decisions regarding their health. She is passionate about preventative care and believes each patient is unique when considering the treatment plan.
In her free time, Allison enjoys cooking, running (slowly), yoga (still not flexible!), and time with family and friends. She loves North Carolina and exploring nature with her husband and 4 children!
